The Mini Movers Terms and Conditions

Before proceeding with your booking, please read the following terms and conditions:

·      By booking onto The Mini Movers class, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions and take full responsibility to adhere to them. 

·      We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time, please check our website regularly for updates: www.theminimovers.co.uk

Bookings

·      Full payment for the block of classes is required at the time of booking to secure a place in a class. 

·      Payment is made via our online booking system. 

·      A priority booking period will be available to existing customers prior to release to the general public. After this, places are offered on a first come, first served basis.

Refunds and Cancellations

·      Once payment is made, we cannot issue refunds. In the case of exceptional circumstances, please discuss your options with your teacher. We will always work with the customer to find a suitable outcome where possible.

·      If you are unable to make a class, we cannot issue refunds. At the discretion of the teacher, and depending on availability, you may be able to join a class during that week.

·      In the event of adverse local weather, no refunds will be given for classes missed if the venue is deemed safe and accessible and the lesson takes place.

·      If classes are cancelled by The Mini Movers, we will endeavour to find a suitable alternative to make up the class. If this happens more than once within a block of classes, a refund will be made for the missed class. A refund will be made within 10 working days of the class cancellation.

·      We reserve the right to change the lesson time, location, or teacher for any reason.

Class Behaviour and Supervision

·      All children must be always supervised during classes by the parent/carer they are attending the class with. Activities range from independent skills to adult led skills. The Mini Movers is an opportunity to allow your child to have independence in their learning but also moments to enjoy watching your children grow whilst interacting with them.

·      Our classes should be fun and enjoyable for everyone. If your child is interrupting the smooth running of the class or causing harm or damage to others or the equipment, we ask that you remove them until they are calm enough to resume with the class.

·      The Mini Movers reserves the right to refuse entry to any Customer and/or their child whose behaviour is deemed to be unreasonable or unacceptable.

Health and Safety

·      We aim to provide a safe environment at The Mini Movers. Regular risk assessments are made for classes. 

·      Participation in the class and the use of our equipment is at your own risk. 

·      Parents and carers are responsible for the safety of their children throughout the class and whilst arriving and leaving the premises. 

·      In the event of an incident please inform your class teacher.

·      Teachers are first aid trained and always carry a first aid kit. 

Illness

·      Please do not attend a class if you or your child are unwell or are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19. You must not attend if you have a contagious illness including, but not limited to, sickness, diarrhoea, chicken pox or impetigo. Please take advice from your doctor and be clear of all symptoms for 48 hours before returning. 

Safeguarding

·      Teachers have completed safeguarding training and have undertaken an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check. 

·      We have a responsibility to look out for the welfare of children attending our classes and report any suspicious behaviour to the relevant authorities. 

·      Due to the nature of the sports classes, physical contact may be required between the teacher and your child. This will always be carried out in a professional manner. 

·      If you have any concerns regarding a safeguarding matter, please ensure that you have informed us either in person at a lesson, via email jo@theminimovers.co.uk or by calling 07850944690. 

Photography and Filming

·      You must declare if you do not want your child to be photographed for marketing use including use on social media. You must also keep us up-to-date should this change by emailing jo@theminimovers.co.uk or calling 07805944690.

·      Photos/videos may be taken of your own child during the classes but please ask permission if any other child will be in the photo. 

·      Photos/videos taken with other children in may not be used on social media unless permission has been granted from the parent/carer.

·      Please share your photos with your class teacher, we love to see them. 

·      Full length videos of classes are not permitted.

Equal Opportunities

·      The Mini Movers is inclusive and we treat everyone respectfully and equally. We expect our customers to do the same.

Privacy and Data Protection

·      Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details about what personal information we collect, how we use it and how we protect it. 

·      By either visiting the Website, registering for an account or booking classes, you consent to the collection, use, transfer and storage of your data per the conditions outlined in the Privacy Policy.

Personal Property

·      The Mini Movers cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of personal possessions before, during or after our classes. 

Exclusion of Liability

·      As The Mini Movers classes operate in a parent supervised environment and those participating are being active and engaging in independent play and sports activities, some risk of injury exists. We do our best to ensure that such a risk is kept to a minimum and are on hand to help at all times. Save where it is caused by our negligence, The Mini Movers does not accept any liability for injury, damage or loss which may occur before, during or after one of our classes. 

Complaints Procedure

·      The Mini Movers are committed to providing a high quality service to its customers. When something goes wrong, please tell us about it to assist us in constantly improving our standards.

·      We always aim to find a prompt and peaceful resolution. Please take your teacher aside at the end of class or contact jo@theminimovers.co.uk or call 07850944690. 

·      Your complaint will be investigated promptly and we will call you to discuss and hopefully resolve your complaint. Our response will outline the action taken to investigate the complaint, the conclusions and action taken as a result of the complaint.

If any term set out above is later deemed to be invalid or unenforceable, it shall not affect the validity of the remainder of these terms and conditions. 

These terms and conditions consist of an entire agreement between the customer and The Mini Movers. 

The Mini Movers is the trading name for Mrs Joanne Bartlett.
